Every year our 100% volunteer fire department responds to all types of calls for help from within our community including house fires, vehicle fires, emergency medical calls for help, motor vehicle accidents, false alarms, and weather-related hazards. In fact, last year the West Hurley Fire Department responded to 401 emergency incident calls. Our members complete countless hours of training to stay well-equipped on proper procedures and to ensure safety. The members of our department are your family, friends and neighbors, who are on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to emergencies within our community.
