Fire Suppression

The mission of our Fire Service is to provide protection of life, property, and the environment from the effects of fires and the associated hazards. Our Fire Service maintains a constant rate of readiness to respond to all requests for services through training, maintenance of equipment, and a desire to professionally serve our community.

Every year, our 100% volunteer fire service responds to all types of calls for help from within our community. Our fire service responds to all emergency calls within the fire district, including assisting our Emergency Medical Service (EMS). Firefighters are responsible for extinguishing house fires, vehicle fires, brush fires, and any other type of fire. Firefighters also respond to motor vehicle accidents, fire alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and weather-related hazards.

Our firefighters complete countless hours of training to stay well-equipped on proper procedures and to ensure the highest level of safety. Our fire service also extends their services to educate the public about fire safety and fire prevention, as well as teaching what to do in emergency situations to help save lives.

The volunteers of our department are your family, friends, and neighbors, who are on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to emergencies within our community.
